The Persistent Mind Prevails Over a Dormant One

Through the ages of time we can all agree that the majority of the most have had the most success and the most impact on others. These individuals had a desire that the intensity level was one that which consumed them to a point there was nothing else, to a depth that there was no room for failure. Their persistent mind took complete control over their every day interactions from when they got up to when they went to sleep, but still their sub conscious mind still articulated ways to succeed as they slept. They touched the lives of many and still continue to touch us today as their legacy is still talked about and studied today.

Learning from your failures

The persistent mind realizes that a failure is just a snapshot in time; it is not the end of all, just a step closer to success. The persistent mind continues to analyze the situation over and over again until any failure is turned into success. So many times we may know of people that try a new project, take on a new educational platform or a new hobby. We watch as these individuals struggle with this new addition to their life and hear them start making excuses and just give up. I have heard excuses like “I don’t have the time”, “it’s too complicated “, “Johnny down the street tried it and it didn’t work, so it won’t work for me either”. Although most give up, we have all witnessed the one or two individuals go the extra 500 miles that we nickname a “trooper”, because they just don’t give up. As I write these words it reminds me of how we all had learned to walk as a young child, one step at a time. At the age of about twelve months we all started to learn to walk, while we did learn this once monumental task, it took time, we had the occasional fall but we were persistent. Why do you think we were so persistent; the reason is because we did not know what quitting was or that is was even an option for us, but aren’t you glad you didn’t. We all started by lifting ourselves up, take a step and fall flat on our face or bang our head against a coffee table or chair, and oh boy did we get mad, this pissed us off enough to do it all over again. We continued to put ourselves through this torture because of our determination and persistence to be able to walk. Walking meant freedom, freedom meant possibilities; possibilities lead to success, and success leads to more freedom. So I challenge you to get pissed off and keep doing it over again until you are “walking”.

After 12 No’s why stop?

A great example of being persistent is John Grisham and how he started writing his first book in his part time after witnessing a testimony of a 12 year old girl. John spent three years on the title known as “A Time to Kill” once finished he submitted his work to roughly 12 different publishers, which none of them were very excited about the content, they turned him down. John was not going to give up, he knew he had a good story so he kept trying and he came across a publisher named Wynwood Press and they bought it on a whim and took it to market with 5000 copies. This was a beginning of one of the most sought after authors that we know, his work is now known worldwide, and he has touched all of our lives with his many titles. He continues to fascinate us with his ability to write a good book and portray a world that you feel you are part of, just imagine if he would have given up after 12 no’s? Think about this, you may be thinking of giving up, but if you give up, there is the possibility that you are not only affecting yourself but others as well, maybe thousands or millions. John did not give up his passion to be a writer, just like him you have the ability to touch others lives, be persistent and don’t give up.

The Battle of Thermopylae

While many of us know this story well, others have the look like my wife, not a clue if I was speaking a foreign language or named a body part; this is an historic example of courage and persistence against all odds. This is a story of a great army lead by a group of 300 Spartan’s which were known for their military training and education that began at the age of seven. This great battle is known for the extreme odds, courageous mentality and persistence to protect their way of life. Around September of 480B.C. at the pass of Thermopylae they were confronted by an army of numbers in the millions, an army so large that whispers rolled through the hills in the wind saying they were unstoppable. An army so large that as they marched stories were told that it sounded like the gods destroying worlds that we have never seen just heard of. For a total of seven days the Spartans fought against odds that were never in their favor, except one; persistence, and they would have won this great conflict if it would have not been for betrayal of one of their own. Their story is still told and referenced today as one of the most memorable conflicts ever, and will continue to inspire each and every one of us to keep going even when the odds are stacked against us.

Persistence wears Resistance

We have all heard this saying time and time again, but many of us think about it differently. Every time I think of this saying or hear someone reference it I think of water on a constant drip on a bed of rocks, seems a little odd, yes I know but think about it. The drops of water are the persistence force that continues to strike against the bed of rocks (the resistance).If you find it hard to believe how water that continually strikes a rock will have any change, just look at the 1885 miles that runs from Colorado to Texas. You got it, the Rio Grande is a prime example of water forming rock and earth with continuous persistence. Talk about not giving up, the Rio Grande has been forming for 100 million years, it doesn’t get a chance to think about quitting and giving up, just like when we were learning to walk, a way was found no matter how long it took. While you may not 100 million years to build your business the philosophy is the same; , even against the most unforsaken odds.

Don’t dare tell me you are too old

While I am very reluctant in telling this next section I feel I have too as it is very relevant to this article in being persistent and not giving up. See I grew up having a very rough childhood, not having much, but feeling fortunate that I was alive and not in a position as so many other children were in third world countries. Since there wasn’t much monetary support in or around my family, we went without many things, for example one of the most coveted gifts that a child could receive is a bike. Well as I said money was not growing on our tree in the back yard so I went without a bike, without for many, many years. I never had the opportunity to learn to ride a bike until a good friend named Steven lived in a apartment below me and had a bike, he was getting bored riding by himself and asked me to buy a bike. As you could imagine the fear flooded my body, here I was in my 20′s and never had the opportunity to learn to ride a bike, what was I to do? Lie to my friend, tell him I wasn’t interested in riding with him and having the chance to hurt his feelings or tell him the truth, well I took the high road. I told him my story and we went together and bought me a bike, we started riding around the neighborhood, then the park and then farther. While this was not an overnight feat, it was accomplished. It was accomplished because I was persistent and knew I wanted to learn to ride a bike and knew I could, also for all the people that could not ride a bike. I did it for them also knowing if I didn’t use my abilities to the best of my ability I was being ungrateful and didn’t deserve the opportunity. In telling my friend the truth and being persistent I learned to ride a bike and have a very strong friendship with Steven, we taught each other many things and am grateful for the experience.

While you may think you have no way of being successful, don’t give up. You can be like the 97 percent of people that give up if they the odds are stacked up against them, or you can make a choice. A choice to continue until the end where you are successful and you have built a legacy as one that never gave up, as one who inspired others and gave back to the world in such a positive manner. As the late Confucious said “Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall”.

Here are a few states of mind when it comes to Persistence

Definite of Purpose - what do you want;this has been said by many to be the most important step in developing persistence. The how is never important, the why is what drives you and your surroundings, it drives your actions.

Desire – What you desire above anything else will drive the mind to a level of persistence that enables you to succeed, you will find with a strong enough desire that your subconcious starts articulating the how for you in a effortless way.

Self Reliance - Believe in yourself, believe you can accomplish the plan that will lead you to your success, without belieef in yourself you will most likely fail, and if you are like me failure is not an option. Believe in yourself and others will see the passion and believe in you alos and support you in your endevours

Definiteness of Plans - a plan is just as it sounds, a road map to success, while not all plans have the same depth of thought, it may be unreasonable, it is still a plan – follow it daily, this devolps persistence. If you have to change the plan thats fine but once changed stick to the plan, WARNING !!! Don’t change your plan every couple days, give it awhile

Accurate Knowledge - Have you done your due diligence on the subject, have you studied the content, seeked out others perspective, studied the individuals that have succeeded around the subject. Don’t take the stance of throwing stuff on the wall and seing what sticks, get facts. This will support your mind in beleiving you can succeed.

Cooperation – Be kind to others, believe in them, support them, cooperate and mastermind with them, treat others as they would like to be treated

Will power - Everything you do should have some type of attatchment to what your plan is, if not you are wasting time, read your plan everyday, every night before you go to bed and during the day to keep the sharp focus you started with. Turn off that black box on the wall called the profit drainer!

Habit – What you do day in and day out forms your mind and how it reacts to stimuli. If you are reading an hour a day about good content, you are training your mind to pick up information about books and good content. You are training your mind to pick up on this information as it crosses your path, what you do everyday and what you train your mind to become important actually does become important.

Many years ago, I learned: “A mind is a terrible thing to waste!” I refuse to waste mine. On December 25, 2007, I turned 60. I have just begun to actively live and enjoy the rest of my life. In this article, I will share some important discoveries about what you need to do to live the successful active life that you deserve.

I have learned that we have few guarantees in life. The most important guarantee is that we have Choice. Choice about how we participate in our life. We can react well or poorly, with a smile and optimism or with anger and pessimism. We all are guaranteed 24 hours per day. No one gets more; no one gets less. We cannot stop the clock. Aging well is within our grasp, aging isn’t!

“…..there’s one diabolical factor that does more to kill achievement, smother success, cripple happiness and castrate prosperity- than anything else you can imagine. That dastardly culprit is poor health.”

You have heard it all before: we need to take care of ourselves with proper nutrition and hydration, clean air to breathe and exercise. In addition, we need a good dose of spirituality to temper our humility and stress, to keep all our parts working properly. Keeping your brain alert and figuring out how to do all of this is the most difficult task of all. You “gotta” eliminate excuses, develop a plan of your choosing and stick to it for the rest of your life. Keeping yourself motivated and active is the secret to your success. Stop moving and it all comes to an end.

I recommend that you develop a positive clear life plan and dedicate the rest of your life to following it. Once you have the plan, choosing the details about how to live your life becomes much easier.

Here are some ideas that might be useful to you.

Greet your day with a smile on your face, with yesterday done, your present and future having just begun.

A positive attitude goes along way to helping you get along. Smiles and happiness are good. Hopefully you will CHOOSE to start today, right NOW, with a smile on your face.  Before you can begin to take care of today, to wake up with a smile on your face, with passion, clarity and conviction, you need to know what you want, what you are proud of and what you want to keep that is worth keeping. You need to de-clutter: to get rid of the rest!

Know that opportunities, that you create, await you; that your spark is self-lit.

Now that you have begun to get rid of your past clutter, you can begin to focus on the positive and on the present. You need to believe that you can create positive opportunities for most of what you want; that you can maintain and sustain your self-lit spark even through adversity. You have that choice. You can figure out the “Whats”, “Hows”, “Whens”, “Wheres” and with “Whoms” necessary to deal with these choices. Knowing this is powerful and essential to creating, maintaining, sustaining and truly living your active life your way. My recommendation is to first work on those obvious aspects of life that you have a lot of control over, choice about and success with; e.g. de-clutter, then eat, rest, sleep, relax, work, share etc. Focus on the less obvious later. They will be clearer then.

Develop, maintain and succeed at your loftiest goals and dreams.

I believe that with a realistic Plan and Lots of Support you can succeed at most anything you choose. I believe that by making the Plan as real as you can, you can Participate and find out what went well, what didn’t and can begin to speculate about how to improve your life.  You can talk with and Debrief about what happened with trustworthy others. You can then Plan again for next time, all the while getting closer to living out the ideals of your loftiest goals and dreams.

Design your environment to have people, places and things profoundly support, stimulate and inspire you. You need to work The Law of Attraction.
Trust your intuition and your self, trusting complementary others will cooperate and support you in complementary ways.

The Law of Attraction states that you attract who you are and how you are, both the good and the bad. You have choice. You can attract winners or losers, people who support you and/or people who don’t, people who like you for who you are and/or people who have a need to criticize you and/or want to change you, people who want you to succeed and people who don’t. You can choose positive relationships: complementary others who are capable and willing to participate with you in complementary ways. Do it while you can. Toxic relationships suck you dry. Sometimes you have to find that support outside of your family. People are ready to help you if you allow them to.

Create enough energy to do whatever you want to, whenever you want to by taking care of your physical, spiritual and emotional health, eating right and exercising properly.

I finally decided to do something about caring for my health: to have a body to die for instead of to die from! I made a discovery, the personal discovery that I am worth it. If I am to succeed at my life my way, then I need my health and fitness to get me there because without it, I won’t. I go to the gym and follow the advice of a nutritionist. I don’t smoke or do drugs and drink alcohol rarely.  I de-stress regularly and purposefully. I sharpen my mind by learning from those wiser than I am, challenging myself with new thoughts, reaffirming old ones. I am confident enough to be humble, reverent that my powers and abilities are limited but that my Choices and Motivation are open ended. I invest time in my self and as a result, feel better, look better and have incredible energy to spare. How about you? I believe you can too. You must build your health and fitness plan into your committed positive life plan. Thinking about it isn’t enough.

Integrate work, play, learning and growth. They can all be one.

If you are still working and enjoying it, great, if not, please volunteer, mentor, keep busy, doing what you love to do. Read, be around people and join a church, synagogue, activities group or club. Different retirement communities offer classes in music appreciation, and art. Join a chorus, sing, dance, learn the computer and/or play video games. There are professional people available to help you if you are willing to take that first step. Many municipalities provide economical and accessible resources for community activities and classes. They have catalogues that offer a variety of stimulating classes including exercise classes. Art museums, Town Hall meetings and local libraries all have ongoing programs for senior citizens. There are senior mentor programs in the local elementary schools to teach children how to read. The local hospitals hold at least monthly health education workshops. Check the local television and radio stations; they have useful information and lists of community activities and services.

Choreograph your day so that you have all the time you need, to do and be, whatever matters most to you. Ready/Fire/Aim at your priorities.
Finish what you start on time and with the original joy that inspired “It”.

You should live your life in pencil with a big eraser available at all times.Do everything you can to follow the schedule you set, but be willing to change, as your priorities and responsibilities dictate. Your responsibility is to succeed at fulfilling your obligations to your self and others. You can’t do this without a predictable, clear plan with obvious steps and the time commitments necessary to fulfill them.

Steps to completion are important. They must be clear, with an appropriate beginning, middle and end. The more that you set up the What you need to do, the How you need to do it, the When, the Where and the Who you need to do it with, so that you have no doubt about the order of events, the greater the opportunity you have to succeed and sustain your energy throughout the process.

Enjoy, laugh and play with your “truly” significant others. Fun energizes.

You need to take care of your commitments to your self and your complementary others first. Only then do you have the pure, free, voluntary, committed, non-distracted energy to enjoy, laugh, and play with your “truly” significant others.Fun energizes and you need to play, laugh, feel connected and relax daily to truly succeed. You need to assure yourself of fun caring people in your life. Sharing positive energies is essential to a complementary lifestyle. Loneliness kills your spirit.

Create your life to have everything that you want and nothing that you don’t want as much as humanly possible. Sometimes life throws curveballs, you can hit your pitch: strikes.

If you hold yourself responsible to do your best, no more, no less, you have the greatest opportunities of succeeding. If you know your abilities and your limitations, you can make good choices. You can work with complementary others to help you accomplish whatever you can’t do on your own. You can also do your best to help them succeed too. By respecting and including their complementary participation, you can develop and maintain synergistic relationships full of personal and mutual well being.

Operate from your passion, your mission and your positive life plan! This isn’t easy. It needs to be more than an idea that was presented by someone else!

Your positive life plan needs to become your personal guide, your mission, your passion, your code of ethics and your non-negotiable deal with yourself and with and to others. It is selfish without being selfless. When your selfishness includes the unabashed need to serve others in complementary ways that creates Win/Wins for all of you, you can lead and follow and get and give and take and serve all at the same time. Wow, that’s powerful.

Give back to others so you can sleep through the night like a baby; awakening to another day’s opportunity!

It’s legacy timein my life. How do you want to be remembered and cared for? Address it now. Avoidance leads to missing choices and opportunities and can result in chaos.

I am realistic enough to know that there will never be a plan, a system that creates and controls the “perfect life”. You can, however, always strive to do whatever you can to succeed. You cannot complete everything today. You can only complete everything that you intended to and planned for, everything that you can possibly do by yourself and with the help of others. You need to schedule the rest for later.  So list your intentions and prioritize them. By doing this, you can create successful opportunities to accomplish the achievable today and then, as necessary, the achievable tomorrow, the next day and into your active future. I believe you can do this if you want to badly enough.

There is no doubt the sense of accomplishment helps boost your spirits but often a lack of motivation keeps us from experiencing this euphoric feeling. Normally what motivates you is the anticipation of the results you will experience from the efforts you put forth. The biggest obstacle however seems more times than not to be just getting started. Therefore in order to be motivated to take the first step towards many undertakings we must develop or learn new habits.

Here are 5 simple techniques you can use to overcome that lack of motivation that limits your productivity and often robs you of the sense of accomplishment.

There Is No ‘Perfect” Time

There is no better time than the present to begin on that new project you have been putting off for months. Many wait for the ‘perfect’ time in which to start on something and this is nothing more than an elaborate way of procrastinating.

In fact the most perfect time for you to tackle a new project is when you finally overcome your lack of motivation to simply take the first step. Conditions will never be any more perfect than at this point in time.

Just Do It!

Another factor that inhibits us from taking action is we spend far too much time thinking about what it is we want to do. The problem here is that this ‘thought process’ can raise several questions as to why the project should be delayed. Whether we have ‘created’ doubt due to time constraints or even our own abilities we are now on the road to procrastinating.

The best approach here is to simply get involved with this new undertaking immediately and as you see progress being made this motivates you to continue your efforts.

Put Your Thoughts in Motion

Your thoughts are the plans you intend to put into motion to realize a desired outcome. Well what good are these thoughts if you never take action on them?  As you develop your plans in your mind allow yourself to be motivated by the anticipation of the outcome and start immediately implementing these plans. Once again the first step is always the hardest but after that it is all ‘downhill’ from there!

Overwhelm Fears by Taking Action

Another common reason for ‘putting off’ projects or tasks is due to a fear of failure. As strange as it is many people feel that doing nothing is better than trying and failing. The fact of the matter is that in most cases our fears of failure are not justified except in our own minds. By taking action and becoming more familiar with the task at hand our confidence soars and this motivates you even more.

Do Not Delay – Start Right Away

Get down to business immediately once you have decided to take action. It is all too easy to first check email or perhaps the news before getting deeply involved in your work. Both the news and your email can and will wait for you to check them. It is more important to take advantage of the time and your energy level while you have plenty of both to use.

Learning how to get motivated to undertake many projects is more than half the battle of successfully completing them. In most cases what motivates you to pursue any worthwhile goal is the anticipation of the results you will experience from the efforts you invest. A common obstacle for many however is just getting started. Fortunately it is possible to learn new ‘habits’ that will enable us to be motivated enough to overcome this ‘getting started’ barrier. The 5 techniques we spoke of above can be easily learned and adopted into your ‘mode of behavior’ allowing you to accomplish more and enjoy life to the fullest.

1. First, take control of your attitude. Yes, you can do this. Sit down with yourself and analyze what goes through your mind on a regular basis. Does it bring you up and make you feel good? Does it bring you down and depress you? If your thoughts bring you up, congratulations. You are off to a good start. If they bring you down find new ways of looking at things. Deal with challenges one at a time and then celebrate successes. Don’t forget to ask friends and family for help if you need it!
2. Once your attitude is helping you overall, start tweaking your thoughts to empower you. When you reach a challenge or a difficult situation, tell yourself, “I can handle this, it’s easy!” And mean it. Then deal with the challenge. As you do you will find that it really is easy to deal with.
3. Adjust your vocabulary. Three words to be aware of and to eliminate are these: CAN’T, But, and IF… CAN’T takes your power away completely and slams the door on any chance of success or even an attempt to deal with a situation. BUT negates everything that comes berore it, and destroys forward progress. “That’s a nice tie, BUT I like your other one better.” This statement implies indirectly that the speaker doesn’t like the tie at all. IF implies failure: If I can do it… If that happens… these statements allow the speaker to back out of an agreement, or avoid task completion but more importantly it shifts responsibility from the speaker to an outside force. That is really damaging and needs to stop!
Solution: Replace Can’t with CAN . YES YOU CAN! Replace but with AND. Replace If with WHEN! Try this and you will see how you get a lot of your personal power back!
4. Use self-affirmations. Do these work? Yes. They shift your focus immediately and empower your self-belief. Simple self-affirmations may or may not work: such as “I’m great” , “I love the world” , “I’m a great person”… What is more effective is to target a weak area in yourself and use affirmations to crack that belief cycle. Some examples: If you are stubborn and want to change tell yourself on a regular basis “I can be flexible!” If you have a hard time getting organized start slow and tell yourself “I love to have things in their place. It make me feel good!” If you are afraid of your finances and avoid dealing with them, tell yourself: “My finances are ok. I’ll deal with them right now!”
Obviously these are simple examples, but they really do work and you can develop your own, as needed, at any time.
5. Deal with your fears! Don’t avoid them. Avoiding a fear only makes it worse and increases the reluctance to deal with it. What you need to do is 1. Face the fear. Accept it and admit it to yourself. 2. Deal with it a little bit at a time and add steps as you gain confidence. 3. When you begin to turn the tide affirm your success and keep going. Sooner than later the fear will vanish and your confidence will skyrocket!
6. In an effort to be politically correct here, let me say this: this step is completely your decision, and it may be a little bit difficult to implement although it may be very necessary. Decide if the people you spend your time with are helping you or hindering you! If they are not helping you and are bringing you down you need to decide if this is how you want to be spending your time. If you can’t bear the thought of “changing friends” equalize your influences by spending time with positive and motivating individuals.
7. Take complete responsibility for your thoughts and mental processes. Emotions can be useful and powerful tools and I actually live through my emotions more than through my thoughts. Because of this I have to spend a lot of time adjusting my thoughts to help my emotions, and vice versa. If you are blue, or depressed, find the source and deal with it. In serious cases you may need professional help, but more likely you just need to work through challenges. If you tend to be angry, the same thing applies. Figure the source and work through the issues. Anger can be redirected into productivity especially if you can visualize success as “revenge” upon those who have made you angry.
8. Eat a healthy diet that energizes you and keeps you productive and mentally alert. This is a personal thing, really, but processed carbs and high fat meals are not good for anyone. Fruits and vegetables, lean meats and proteins, and complex carbohydrates are better choices for most people, unless there is an issue of food allergies.
9. HAVE FUN!!! One of the biggest issue plaguing most people is that we get so wrapped up in our daily lives and work, home-making, and child-raising that we forget to have fun on a daily basis. Kids can be great fun! Do stuff with them. Go on walks, hikes, have daily dinners as a family. Don’t forget to laugh on a regular basis!
10. To help with the process of mental strength and vitality remember to solve problems one at a time. Remember to make plans that you can complete daily. Remember to prioritize your time and do the most important things first! And every day remind yourself of the beauty around you. Of the blessings in your life. Of the people that you love and who love you. Now see yourself as the powerful individual that you are and build that business that you desire and deserve! Celebrate Successes and Fix Failures! And keep moving forward.

Choose Your Goal

Determine what it is you want and what it is going to take to reach your goal. By doing this you are now focusing your attention on a specified target.  With your direction being more clearly defined you can now better coordinate your efforts.

Determine Your Inspiration

Locating your inspiration which is the best motivation you can have for pursuing your goals is simple. What are the benefits you expect to experience upon achieving your objectives? Focusing on what you expect to gain is how to get motivated enough to take the first necessary steps needed to reach your objective.

Reflect on the Benefits

Many goals or objectives take some time before they can be reached and it becomes a challenge to keep your ‘enthusiasm’ to maintain your efforts. By continuously reminding yourself of the reasons you want to reach your objectives you can overcome the occasional lack of motivation you may experience. Your ‘reasons’ will help to sustain your drive!

Announce Your Goal

Share your intentions or goals with others around you and this will benefit you in two ways. Having others ‘remind’ you of what you stated is a form of peer pressure and you know how effective that can be! In addition ‘life sometimes gets in the way’ due to the chaos and fast pace and this can distract you from your objectives. Be Realistic

Understand and accept that there will be set backs but realize the benefits you stand to gain be accomplishing your objectives.

Follow Through to Completion

Learning to accept any set backs as lessons to be learned will help you to continue your efforts until you are successful. Remember you can only fail by not trying or by giving up. If you see that the goals you have set can not be met for whatever reason you have NOT failed but simply learned a valuable lesson.

Sometimes getting motivated to take the first step is the hardest part of accomplishing any task. Quite often the best motivation is in realizing the benefits you stand to gain by reaching your objectives. by focusing your energies on a ‘singular task’ is the best way to start and maintain your efforts till completion. A lot of people today want to know the and take massive action on all the things they want in life. The first thing you have to understand is that motivation is such a misused word and that you only need to motivate yourself to do something if you don’t feel like doing it. This is where the key really lies, you have to understand why you want to perform the certain tasks you are struggling with and in this way give them a deep sense of urgency so you are no longer dependant on being motivated or not.

The first step is to ask yourself what the goal with your actions are, what you ultimately want to achieve by doing all of these things. In the example of work this could be a certain amount of money you want to achieve, or a special car, in training it could be a certain body to fat ratio etc. After you have figured out what your end result is, it is time to figure out your purpose. Your purpose is probably the most important thing when it comes to goal setting and motivation since it is the driving factor behind it all. Your find your purpose by asking yourself why you want to achieve the specific goal you are trying to pursue, make sure you list all the additional benefits you will get by achieving that specific goal.

Now if you are the least interested in self help you might already know that we are more driven by pain than pleasure, meaning that we would much rather perform a certain task in order to avoid pain than to gain pleasure. A great example of this is earning 10$ or someone taking 10$ from your pocket!  Pain is just much more tangible for us and we will use this info when trying to envision our purpose. So in order to make the purpose part as effective as possible make sure you also envision what will happen if you don’t real your end goal, how will you feel and what will you say to yourself?

Now that you have a goal and know why you are taking action towards this goal it is time to finish the process by completing the last step. The last step is where you create an action plan of how to achieve your goals. Make sure you create a detailed and specific action plan and get started right away. Trust me, with the right dedication you can achieve all your goals in life.
